2024 Science Forum: Call for Abstracts

Mark your calendar, the annual Science Forum will once again take place on Wednesday May 8, 2024 – at Mount Royal University, Ross Glen Hall.  For many years now the Science Forum has encouraged presentations on new research, and student research on environmental issues in the Bow River basin. 

At the upcoming Forum, presentations will cover many of the following topics: climate change, flood/drought prediction and assessment, ecosystem impacts and stressors, invasive species, new methods in aquatic and riparian assessment, connecting groundwater and surface water, wetlands restoration, source water protection, citizen science initiatives, water scarcity, water reuse, drought mitigation, and traditional indigenous knowledge - influence on western science.

We are accepting abstracts now for both oral and poster presentations. See here for details:
